Common questions
- Does ORQVION upload my source code?
- No — not silently. Source, indexes, and chat history stay on your machines. ONLINE/AUTO sends inference to configured provider APIs (BYOK keys in your OS keychain) — not to the license server as a prompt archive. Enterprise audit is structured metadata without file contents.
- Can I use ORQVION offline?
- Yes — choose OFFLINE or AUTO in Settings. Offline uses ORQVION AI bundles and GGUF via llama.cpp (not the Ollama app). Entitlement refresh may still contact your license server; that traffic is seats and plan metadata, not your repo.
- How do I activate a license?
- After purchase or Free signup, activate from the desktop app against the public entitlement API or your org license server URL. The Docs page walks through each step.
- Can I sign up or sign in on orqvion.com?
- Yes — Free Online Beta at /portal/signup (instant Free license in your dashboard). Returning customers use /portal/login (email magic link) for orders and tickets. Desktop activation and SSO still happen in the app.
- Where is support based?
- ORQVION is Pakistan-based. Email support uses the address on the Contact page; enterprise pilots get a dedicated sales thread.
- What if a feature says "partial"?
- We document honest limits on the Features page — for example GitLab review-bot parity, cloud background agents, and Private Team Mesh M10 (mobile protocol validation). Desktop mesh M0–M9 is shipped; we do not claim polished mobile mesh yet.
