Return Policy

This Return Policy applies to ORQVION software licenses. There is no physical good, serial-stickered box, or courier pickup.

Read it with the Refund Policy (money) and Terms of Service (the license). Enterprise paper overrides this page for that customer.

1. What you are “returning”

A return means you ask us to cancel the license entitlement we sold you:

• we mark the seat unused / revoked on the license server; and
• if you qualify under the Refund Policy, we repay the license fee.

Your project files stay on your computer. Returning ORQVION does not delete your Git repository, and we never had a copy of it by default.

2. No physical returns

We do not accept:

• packaged discs or USBs (we do not ship them as the product);
• printed invoices as a substitute for the contact form;
• “return of unused time” on an activated seat as if it were a sealed bottle.

If a design-partner or enterprise shipment included hardware, that hardware is covered by the specific packing list or MSA — not this public page.

3. When a return is accepted

We accept a return (revoke + refund path) when the Refund Policy says the purchase is refundable — especially the 7-day unused, never-activated window, duplicates, and failed fulfilment.

We also accept a return without arguing about activation if we cannot deliver a functioning official build for your paid SKU and we choose not to repair it.

4. When a return is not accepted

• The license was activated and used, and none of the defect/error exceptions apply.
• You expected a cloud IDE that hosts your repo; ORQVION is local-first by design (see Features). That is not a defect.
• You expected offline GGUF without enabling Settings → Advanced Local. Online Beta defaults to AUTO (online first); offline ORQVION AI + GGUF is opt-in in the same binary — see Docs.
• You want to return generated code. Generated files are yours to keep or delete; they are not our SKU.

5. How to return / cancel

1. Stop using the paid seat (sign out / deactivate if the UI offers it).
2. File a request via Contact with your payment reference.
3. Uninstall the desktop app if you wish. Uninstall alone does not trigger a refund.
4. Wait for written confirmation that the entitlement is revoked before you assume the seat is free for someone else.

We may ask you to confirm the device is deactivated so the seat is not left in a bound state.

6. Defective or non-starting software

If the official installer for your OS is corrupt, will not launch, or cannot activate against a healthy license server:

• tell us the OS version, app version, and error category (not your source);
• we will offer a replacement build or a return/refund.

Do not open a payment dispute in parallel unless we have missed the acknowledgement window in the Refund Policy.

7. Data after a return

• Your code — remains yours, on your disk.
• License record — closed or revoked.
• Contact emails — kept as needed to prove the return.
• Local indexes / chats — you delete them by clearing app data; we cannot reach them.

8. Exchanges

We do not “exchange” Pro for Business as a retail store would. Ask support or sales to upgrade; they will tell you whether a credit applies. Downgrades after activation follow the Refund Policy (generally no automatic money back).

9. Governing note

This policy is designed for digital goods sold from Pakistan. If a mandatory consumer rule gives you a right to reject non-conforming digital content, we will honour that rule.
